How to make the magic . . .

ALWAYS USE FRESH CITRUS AND FRESH SQUEEZED JUICES IF POSSIBLE!

USE A COCKTAIL SHAKER WITH ICE TO MAKE THE BEST AND MOST CONSISTENT DRINKS

START WITH A TINY SPLASH OF GRIS GRIS COCKTAIL MAGIC TO DETERMINE YOUR DESIRED SPICE LEVEL…A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!

 

 
 
 
 

The YA YA

2 oz. vodka or tequila
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex or Basil Habanero
Juice of one lemon or lime
Club soda

Mix together vodka, Gris Gris Cocktail Magic, lemon juice and ice. Top with club soda and garnish with a slice of fresh jalapeno.

 

The SILVER FOX

2 oz. blanco tequila
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex or Basil Habanero
Juice of one lime
Club soda

In a shaker, add tequila, Gris Gris Cocktail Magic, lime juice and ice and shake well.  Pour contents into a glass and top with club soda. Garnish with lime.

 
 

The RUDY

2 oz. vodka or tequila (preferably blanco)
2 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice, ideally fresh squeezed
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex or Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Basil Habanero
Juice of one lemon
Club soda

Shake the liquor, grapefruit juice, Gris Gris Cocktail Magic, lemon juice and ice together. Pour into a glass and top with club soda. Stir well and garnish with wedge of grapefruit and a jalapeno slice on a skewer.

 

The CUCUMBER PITCH

Handful of fresh cilantro 3-4 slices fresh cucumber
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex
2 oz. of cucumber flavored vodka (like Effen Cucumber or Prairie Organic Cucumber Flavored Vodka)
Juice of one lime
Club soda

Muddle the cilantro, cucumber slices, Gris Gris Cocktail Magic, vodka and lime juice together.  Add ice and stir together.  Top with club soda and garnish with a slice of cucumber and a sprig of cilantro.

  • 0.0 version: Follow the same steps but omit the vodka and top with unsweetened cucumber flavored seltzer water.

 

SASSY PINEAPPLE

2 oz. shots vodka
2 oz. shots pineapple juice

.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex
Juice of one lime
Club soda

Shake vodka, pineapple juice, Gris Gris Cocktail Magic and lime juice with ice. Pour into glass and top with club soda. Garnish with a wedge of fresh pineapple.

0.0 version: Omit the vodka and otherwise follow the same steps and ingredients.

 

BLOOD ORANGE ‘RITA

2 oz. tequila
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex
.5 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice

Juice of one blood orange

In a cocktail shaker, add ice and all five ingredients and shake well. Pre-rim glass with salt if desired and pour contents with ice into glass. Garnish with a wheel of blood orange.

 
 

The MOJALITO

Handful of fresh mint leaves
2 oz. rum or vodka
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex or Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Basil Habanero
Juice of one lime
Club soda

Muddle the mint, Gris Gris Cocktail Magic and lime juice together.  Add the rum and ice and stir together.  Top with club soda and garnish with a fresh mint sprig.

 
 
 

Berry smash

2 oz. vodka
Handful of fresh berries (blueberries, blackberries or raspberries)
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Basil Habanero
Fresh basil

Muddle the berries, vodka and lime juice in the bottle of a shaker. Add ice and Gris Gris Cocktail Magic and shake well. Strain into glass and serve up or on the rocks with fresh ice. Garnish with a basil leaf.

  • 0.0 version: Omit the vodka and top with a splash of grapefruit seltzer water.

 

The RUDY (Have That Party Size!)

THIS IS A GREAT RECIPE FOR A CROWD AND CAN BE MADE AHEAD

3 cups tequila (preferably blanco) or vodka
3 cups ruby red grapefruit juice, preferably fresh squeezed
1/2 cup Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex or Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Basil Habanero
1/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

Mix all of these ingredients together in a pitcher. To serve, fill glass with ice and 2/3 full with mixture. Top with club soda and add garnish. Be sure to stir often as syrup will drop to bottom of pitcher.

 

PINEAPPLE MARG

SERVED AT THE GREENBRIER RESORT

2 oz. tequila
1 oz. Cointreau
Juice of half a lemon
Juice of half a lime
1 oz. pineapple juice
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Basil Habanero

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into an ice filled glass. Garnish with a sprig of basil or wedge of pineapple. Salt rim optional.

 

GRISGRISRITA

2 oz. tequila
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño Hex or Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Basil Habanero
.5 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice

In a cocktail shaker, add ice and all four ingredients and shake well. Pre-rim glass with salt if desired and pour contents with ice into glass. Garnish with a slice of fresh lime and a pinch of lime zest.

 
 

TAJIN SALT RIM

THIS IS A DELICIOUS ALTERNATIVE TO THE TRADITIONAL SALT RIM

2 tablespoons kosher salt or flaky sea salt
2 teaspoons Tajín Clásico Seasoning
(Mexican seasoning made with chilis and dried limes)

Run a lime wedge around rim of each serving glass.
Dip in Tajin salt mixture.

 

Bon Hiver

2 oz. vodka
2 oz. grapefruit juice
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Rosemary Thyme
1 lime, juiced
club soda

Add first three ingredients with ice in a shaker. Shake well and pour contents into glass. Top with club soda and garnish with a sprig of thyme and a grapefruit wedge.

ROSEMARY PIMM’S PARTY PITCHER

1 bottle Pimm’s

1 bottle Italian Lemon Soda

1/2 bottle Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Rosemary Thyme

2 lemons, juiced

Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher and stir well.  Serve over ice and garnish with sliced strawberries, sliced cucumbers, and a sprig of rosemary.

 

SPICY SUNRISE

Makes Two Drinks

8 oz. Ruby Red grapefruit juice

8 oz. Prosecco

1 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Jalapeño or Basil Habanero

Mix grapefruit juice and Gris Gris Cocktail Magic.  To serve, fill glass with prosecco first and then top with juice mixture.

 
 

RANCH WATER

CAN BE MADE WITH GRIS GRIS COCKTAIL MAGIC JALAPEÑO HEX OR BASIL HABANERO

2 oz. tequila
.5 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic
1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
Topo Chico Mineral Water
Tajin Salt Rim

Rim glass with Tajin salt mixture. In a cocktail shaker, combine
tequila, Gris Gris Cocktail Magic and lime juice and shake well. Pour into an ice filled glass. Top with Topo Chico and garnish with lime wedges.


 

scarborough Fair

2 oz. gin
.75 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Rosemary Thyme
1 lemon, juiced

In a cocktail shaker, add ice and all three ingredients and shake well. Strain into glass and serve up. Garnish with a rosemary sprig.

 

MArInade Magic

GREAT FOR SALADS, ROASTED VEGETABLES, MEATS

1/2 cup olive oil
1/6 balsamic vinegar
3-4 tablespoons Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Rosemary Thyme
1 shallot, finely minced
Creole seasoning

Add all the ingredients together and season to taste with salt and pepper. Shake well. Can be stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks.

 

Rosemary Pimm’s cup

1 oz. Pimm’s 

.25 oz. Gris Gris Cocktail Magic Rosemary Thyme

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1 oz. Italian Lemon Soda

Mix first three ingredients together, pour over ice and top with Italian lemon soda.  Garnish with sliced strawberries, sliced cucumbers and sprig of rosemary.
